Re: Finished 11th year with VoipO

I suppose it's different for everybody.

My experience is the same as christcorp...been there since the beginning and except for a few problems over the years, service has been excellent(ask my...

    Thanks for Nomorobo

    Hi, Tim...

I don't know about the others but for me Nomorobo has been one of the highlights of the year.

Considering the sheer number of calls involving both the election and healthcare, I have...
  4. Re: Grandstream HT702 dying... what should I replace it with?

Although I still have my 702 and it works, I keep it for backup, I have had the OBi 202 for about 1 1/2 years and I find it to be the best ATA I have ever used

Re: Obi200 Telephone Adapter and VOIPo

    Excellent post.

I have the 202 and it is the best ATA I have ever used, and I have used them all.
I only use it as an ATA and have all the other features disabled.

    Re: Nomorobo.com

I signed up for Nomorobo in the very beginning and it works very well. One ring and the call goes into the bucket. I get a few calls each day like this.

Re: Can I provide my own adapter?

    And don't forget the Obi202...
Although I only use it as an ATA, it is by far the best trouble free device I have ever tried. VOIPo does auto config this as well.
    I understand that the engineers...

    Re: Nomorobo.com

Works very well here, and I do get the CID before it hits the Nomorobo tank. Then when I have time, I also block it on VOIPo.

Re: Obi pre-configured Voipo vs Generic

After years of success with my PAP2, for some unknown, crazy reason, I decided to buy an OBi202.
It's a huge overkill for me as I really only wanted another ATA backup for my PAP2 & flaky...

Re: Time zone mismatch since DST started

Since I have access to mine, I keep provisioning off.
Maybe just ask them to change what I suggested. They can keep their provisioning on and hard-code any changes.

Re: Time zone mismatch since DST started

Log into your ATA/regional settings and set the time to minus one hour from whatever your normal GMT setting is.
In the Fall when it changes again, change it back to normal.

    I've never been able...

    Re: Busy Signal Outgoing Calls

    Good post..

    Just some question?...

For those who provision their own ATAs, what are you telling them to do with opening ports.

Years ago Brendan told me to port forward 5400-65000 pointed to...

Re: Still on daylight savings time

It never worked for me either and that is one reason I keep the provisioning off.
This ranks as probably the least important event in my life, so 30 seconds twice a year works for me.

I've had the rule inserted forever but it has never worked. Same on other ATA's I have.

I don't think I'll live long enough to understand the logic of DST.

Re: Still on daylight savings time

What I do twice yearly is go into my ATA and change the time zone.
Takes a minute and solves the problem.
I do have the correct text in the time zone field, but it has never worked.
    I still use...

  25. Re: Is it just me...tickets never seem to get resolved.

This info won't solve your problem, but since I began with VOIPo beta back in 2008, I have had a few quirks along the way, but always got a quick response to any ticket I submitted.
