Many thanks to Voipo support for getting these screenshots together so we can see how things should be configured: http://support.voipo.com/screenshots/pap2t/

Not sure that some those pages should be fallowed.... Tim has said he does not want BYOD devices to be provisioned by Voipo's servers. If someone inputs what is shown on the provisioning page, they could be in for a surprise.

Besides the provisioning, there are a lot a differences between what is shown and how I have my PAP2 configured. It is easy to understand why VOIPo didn't want to support BYOD - a can of worms!

I only care about LINE 1 configurations and SIP. I wouldn't set (and hopefully nobody else would either) the provisioning stuff since that wouldn't work since they don't have my MAC on file. Of course it would probably fail silently.

KenH: What differences do you have?

Perhaps someone from Voipo would comment on the differences.

Ken's PAP2T matches mine very closely.

I have the PAP2T provisioned and there are a few differences.

They seem to be using their System IP for a Stun server. 74.52.58.50

DTMF TX mode is set to auto.

When did you provision yours last?

Just to clarify, this specific server is actually running a STUN service.
You are welcome to use the IP, "74.52.58.50" or "sip.voipwelcome.com".

I would think the name would be preferred since you can't guarantee you'll always have the same IP address; while you can pretty much guarantee that you'll keep the hostname. This will also allow Voipo to move the server around, load balance it, etc without us having to change anything. Name should be preferred.

I notice a bit of difference between the VOiPo images and their supposed dial string in the images:
(*123S0|123S0|011[2-9]x.S3
vs
(*123S0|123S0|011[2-9]x.S5

There are also quite a few differences in the Regional tab for the "Distinctive Ring Patterns" and "Distinctive Call Waiting Tone Patterns"

I'm in USA BTW.

Is this the correct dial string?
*123S0 | 123S0 | 011[2-9]x.S5 | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | [2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | [2-9]xxxxxxS5 | [2-9]11S0 | *xxS1 | *xx1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | *xx[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | x.

At the moment I'm provisioned and yes, that's the one I have and it works well..

Do you know what your "Distinctive Ring Patterns" and "Distinctive Call Waiting Tone Patterns" are?

bellcore-r1-r8 settings should be V1-V8

Actually, I'm talking about these, which are different from the ones listed in this JPG (http://support.voipo.com/screenshots/pap2t/images/regional.jpg) and thus, I'm trying to find what should be used for CWT(call-waiting) as well.
I think this page (http://dial2world.net/LinksysPAP2G723Configurationpage.htm) shows the defaults, which I would think VOiPo is probably using.
Bellcore-r1:
60(2/4)

Bellcore-r2:
60(.3/.2,1/.2,.3/4)

Bellcore-r3:
60(.8/.4,.8/4)

Bellcore-r4:
60(.4/.2,.3/.2,.8/4)

Bellcore-r5:
60(.2/.2,.2/.2,.2/.2,1/4)

Bellcore-r6:
60(.2/.4,.2/.4,.2/4)

Bellcore-r7:
60(.4/.2,.4/.2,.4/4)

Bellcore-r8:
60(0.25/9.75)

A couple of updates for BYOD users:

1) Dial Plan that works a bit better (makes * codes work with or w/o delay):
(*123S0 | 123S0 | 011[2-9]x.S5 | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | [2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | [2-9]xxxxxxS1 | [2-9]11S0 | *2[058][2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0 | *xx | xx.)

2) To allow VOiPo specific codes listed below to work
http://forums.voipo.com/showthread.php?t=1477
add "*20 *21 *22 *23 *24 *25 *26 *27 *28" (no quotes) to "Feature Dial Services Codes:" under Regional tab and change
Block CID Act Code: *30
Block CID Deact Code: *31
Block CID Per Call Act Code: *67
Block CID Per Call Deact Code: *68

3) FXS Port Input/Output Gain: -3 (works best for me)

4) Under Line1/2 some * codes should be changed to "No" since they don't have the desired effect, but I'm trying to figure out exactly which ones can be changed to "No" at this time... If you have something to add/update, please reply here.
So far I think these should be changed to No:
Cfwd All Serv
Secure Call Serv
Block ANC Serv (CID blocked calls come as "Unknown" so enabling it doesn't do anything)
Speed Dial Serv (unless it's used, which I think will need x. in the Dial Plan)

Has anyone tried international dialing with this dial plan?

I'm not having any luck dialing international numbers but I believe the 011[2-9]x.S5 statement in the dial plan should work.

International calling isn't disabled in your VPanel, by chance? https://secure.voipo.com/features
