It may well be famous but I don't know about it lol. But I am a transplant from the UK so I am not too familiar with the area.

In North Adams, there is a part of (possibly Route 2 or 2A) where it says caution, hairpin turn and they are not kidding. I almost bought the farm there cause if you don't slow down, you GO down....::)

Uh, uh, NY Tel Guy. Remembering the history lesson I posted (in the "other forum") a while back --- my great state, the Sopranos' State of New Jersey --- the home of Bell Labs in Whippany NJ where Area Codes were invented and implemented --- claims the title with Area Code 201 --- the lowest possible number among all area codes!

In keeping with the theme of this thread, I'm residing in NJ at the moment but my VOIPo number is in Florida.

Yea... well I live near a big ass volcano that spit out a dirt clump the size of New Jersey about 25 years ago... :p sorry- couldnt resist...

Ive seen a webcam from one of your beaches there with pink neon palm trees on the pier... Looks like a nice place.
