One major policy difference with the reseller program in comparison to our retail offering is that we allow resellers to use any SIP devices they would like.

With that being said, we only officially support VOIPo-provided devices.

We do not provide any troubleshooting/support at all for devices not purchased from VOIPo regardless of the make/model.

We will provide you with the following information that you can use to configure your devices:

SIP Server
SIP Username
SIP Password

Linksys PAP2/PAP2T/RT31P2 users also have the option to use our automated provisioning system. With this system, users are provided a "Provisioning URL" to set in the device. The SIP Server, SIP Username, and SIP Password will automatically be populated in the device based on what account you have it assigned to in your reseller panel. Provisioning is not guaranteed on non-VOIPO devices and may not work with all device firmware versions.

So the bottom line is that you are welcome to use your own devices, but we can only provide the 3 pieces of information outlined above.

If you purchase a device from VOIPo, we will provide basic support with getting it up and running initially and it will be fully compatible with all advertised VOIPo features.
