GS502 Indicators

For those of you using the 502s, it is obvious that the lights on the panel don't reveal much about the status of the connection.

The power light and Wan/Lan lights, depending upon the hookup, are the only lights that reveal anything. The phone 1 or 2 lights light up only when that phone is off hook. Looking at the couple of lights doesn't really tell me much. My SPA2102 showed the phone indicators lit only when the connection was up, and they blink when going off hook.

I use tabs in my browser and keep the admin status page always available to indicate if I'm registered or not. This requires a page refresh to confirm.

I have searched all around for a little software program to show whether the unit is registered but found nothing.

What do some of you do to achieve the status real time?

The best part about this, is that my connection is so very solid that I probably shouldn't be concerned about it.;)
