So what you're saying, burris, is that your PAP2T has "GMT-5" and precisely "start=3/8/7/2:00;end=11/1/7/2:00;save=1" on two subsequent lines (both without the double quotes) and it still does not...

So what you're saying, burris, is that your PAP2T has "GMT-5" and precisely "start=3/8/7/2:00;end=11/1/7/2:00;save=1" on two subsequent lines (both without the double quotes) and it still does not...
Thanks, Burris. What you've said confirms it's not me. After you mentioned looking at the ATA, I did the same. Sure enough it said GMT-4. Once I changed that to GMT-5 my time is fixed. I also...
What do I need to do so that the time on my home phones (which are on VOIPo) gets set back to standard time? The time still appear to be on daylight savings time and so is one hour ahead.
Just tried after seeing your message and it happened again. Proxy Authentication Required (407). The failure happens very fast - seems like it's trying to contact voipo servers which reject the...
Has something changed about the format of numbers accepted. As, mentioned I've been using Zoiper for a while. Interestingly, recently I appear to be getting a lot of Proxy Authentication Required...
I've used Zoiper for years ... from the time before smart phones were fashionable :-). Remember using it on a laptop. I also have it installed on my smart phone (see post #25 above).
Thanks for the responses Tim and Daniel. I've installed it. The QR code approach to set the credentials was pretty cool!
The SMS part will be cool. I've been using Zoiper on Android from my place of work with success. If I try this out will it affect the byod password that was last mailed to me in any way?
Thought I'd ask if the referral program is still in place. Is it still one month for both parties? A friend of mine recently joined after much persuasion. However, I don't see any credits in my...
Can I use wildcards to search my call history?. Let's say I know I received a call from a different area code (say 212) some time last year. How would I search my incoming calls for 212******* ......
Since I have a Google Voice number and Tim's number is shown ... I can confirm that SMSing from GV to VOIPo and back works and is very very fast.
My Android (used mainly for wifi) works perfectly well for travel purposes (and even at home) in parallel with my ATA.
I'm obviously not Tim and have don't make any VOIPo decisions ... there's a huge difference in cost to VOIPo (speculation on my part) between the cheapest and the most expensive destination, so I can...
Good point. I and most of my referrals (not that I have that many) were attracted by the "cheap phone service".
Great to hear about the beta testing! I'll be sure to sign up. The reason I've yet to send you my number is I've no doubt that cell to cell SMS will work with your system (as shown by the graphic...
Now that you mention it, yes, my telna number did not work with one of the airline notification systems either.
Yes, I suspect most of my issues were short codes related - it's been a couple of months since I got the telna account so my memory is a little fuzzy. All I know is when I got it I thought I'd use it...
Tim, I've no doubt if I send you an SMS from a cell it'll come through. If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, see if you can switch your cell number for those accounts to your test number. ...
These are really exciting new features. I'm looking forward to them!
Tim, if it doesn't cost VOIPo more, please see if you can integrate into the various gateways. I've got a Telna Mobile cell...
So, the key is to use the separate vPanel credentials and if you use that VOIPo issued adapter is not impacted?
I must admit I've not been keeping up with the interaction between a VOIPo issued adapter and a softphone. Once upon a time, I believe, the last one registering won out. Iirc, if your standard...
The promotion is also offered to existing customers on a regular basis. So, if you're otherwise happy with the service, just hang in there.
Well, I can make outgoing now.
I'm having issues too. Wife called home, phone rang but we couldn't hear each other. Can't make outgoing at present.
Thanks, Tim. We can train ourselves to start using 123. All I can say is that *123 has worked for us until very recently.
