Since I have both my home and office lines on Voipo I use the Obi202. This way I can have both my lines going through the same ATA. The other advantage of the Obi is that on the extremely rare...
I would like to see an update to this as well.
I have two VOIPO lines. The best thing about the Obi202 is that I can use one ATA for both lines. Much cleaner install and much cleaner desk. :)
I have 2 Voipo lines and am currently using one Obi202. I just have my old Grandstream ATA's sitting around collecting dust but staying around in case something unexpected happens with my Obi.
I've been with Voipo for about 1.5 years and it has had fax support for all of that time. Look in VPanel under "features".
Actually I seem to recall doing the same thing and getting the same results as you... There are so many settings on the Obi I've learned that for my level of knowledge minimal changes work best...
Yes, Enable MWIEnable2 and X_VMWIEnable2 are not checked on my setup nor did I suggest checking them... :p
Glad to hear everything is working though... :)
Try not using the VOIPO config and entering your information manually. I believe the standard Obi config automatically enables MWI (message waiting indicator). Otherwise you need to go to Obi...
I am not familiar at all with Jira. In fact I never heard of it until you mentioned it. I am not familiar with any PM group collaboration software other than MS Project and not even that so much as...
Tim,
What specifically are you looking for? The industry standard is MS Project. I am a telecommunications PM.
Thanks Tim.
Hi Tim. I've already opened a ticket and have spoken by voice to support. Support did some testing and was able to duplicate the issue on their side. They then escalated to Level 2 support. If...
What voicemail problems are you having? Since yesterday I hae not gotten MWI or voicemails reaching my phone. Luckily they go to my mobile phone as well or I wouldn't even know they were there.
Just for the heck of it I tried calling the number myself. I'm in NJ if that makes a difference. For me the number rings twice and then goes dead. Works fine from my cell.
Same back to you Tim!
Delays are back for me. It just took 4 minutes for the voicemail indicator to show up on my phone after receiving a message. It also took another 4 minutes for the indicator to disappear after I...
The good news is that I forward my voicemails to my email and still know immediately when a voicemail is left. I have a special sound set up on my Android phone to alert me of voicemail alerts. I...
I had the exact same issue and opened up support tickets for it. Not sure if they did anything or not but it seems to be working better the last few days. Still not as fast as it was but it is...
I would have to agree that this is the single largest negative issue with Voipo (at least to me). It seems as if I run into at least one number that rings once and dies almost daily. It is at the...
I am using an Obi202 for both of my Voipo lines and still have the "ring once and die" issue periodically so the problem has followed the ATA. To my knowledge the ATA doesn't have anything to do...
The problem definitely still exists and I suspect it always will until the VOIP carriers get their act together. I had two numbers in the past two days that needed the infamous "routing treatment". ...
Thank you Tim. That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.
Is there a difference between configuring my Obi202 as a generic provider vs using the pre-configured Voipo config? I have 2 Voipo lines. Is the pre-configured Voipo touching any settings that the...
I just set up my Obi202 yesterday and also notice delays in the voicemail indicator showing up as well as disappearing. Mine are taking at least 5 minutes to register a status change. Also, I have...
Thanks for the response. I'll probably call tech support at some point and pick their brains...
UPDATE: I just ordered an Obi202 last night from Amazon and should be receiving it tomorrow.
