I have QOS setup in my router based on the IP precedence. It looks like GS 502 does not set the IP precedence for the RTP packets. Is that something that VOIPo can set in the Advanced settings page?

burris,
Its just for my outgoing interface. My setup allocates 180K (using 3 way calling or call waiting) for packets marked with IP precedence of 5. 5 is used for voice, video packets.
Its just to control bottlenecks in my router. Once it goes out of my router, we can't control the packets.
Advanced settings, Layer 3 QoS...
finally someone's interested in QOS
HT-286 QOS: default settings
the HT-502 has the same settings
my wish list:
- Intelligent Call Forwarding that detects the incoming call originated from the "forwarded" phone and rings the original destination instead
Call History that makes use of CallerID/Custom CallerID+Location. Call History only shows Custom CallerId+Loc. No CNAM look up; Albeitly,it's a step in the right direction!
- Scheduled sim. ring with a twist (see wish #1)
I'm sure you are more versed in this than I, since I come from the POTS world, but take a look at this site pages 4-5 and explain how the ATA, outside the network can control downstream.
