    Default Stun Server

I'm just gonna throw this out there.... I have 3 devices on my network that require registration. My Voipo PAP2T, my PAP2, and my Grandstream IP phone. I checked my PAP2T against my PAP2 line for line and there is only 1 difference, my PAP2 has a stun server and my PAP2T does not. My PAP2 has never lost registration, while my PAP2T has lost it many times over the last few weeks.

My IP phone also uses a stun server, and has also never lost registration. Could there be something to this ?

Could be. Are you using a different STUN server on the two with STUN enabled?

No Sir. They both use stun.vtnoc.net, although I am no longer a VT customer

Another thing I have noticed in the last couple days... when I reboot my TA, it does not re-register. I have to change servers and then it will register. Today for example, it was down all day till I got home from work. Once I changed servers, it registered without issue.

If your ATA is behind a router, I would use a stun server, even if your ports are open (forwarded). The stun server you mention is a good one. I would suggest a keep alive interval of 90 secs. or more.
