Thread: Question About Call Routes

    Default Question About Call Routes

I am trying to add two call routes with the same number and same route.

I am trying to have an incoming route for number 555-555-1234 go to busy and also outgoing route for same number go to busy.

It only seems to keep one, I can't seem to use the same number for an incoming and outgoing number to go to busy? Am i doing something wrong?

I am trying to use busy as the ROBOT voice is hard to understand and kind of lame.

Funny I set up the same thing and thought it worked but after reading your post I confirm it is not possible. I just set it up and didn't look to see afterward.

However, it would be nice as I would be able to block my daughters boyfriends that way.

I put in a ticket back in January for this problem. This is what they said:

    Thanks Robert,

It appears you've uncovered a bug without our vPanel call routing utility.

I've added the issue to our official buglist (along with corresponding ticket id). One of our software engineers will examine the specific issue sometime in the near future and get this functioning as it is intended (at which time we'll update you via this ticket that the bug has been resolved).

Enjoy the rest of your afternoon!

I guess they will get around to it someday.
