Save a character or two

I use custom calling id. I've noticed the way it works is the "Custom caller id" is followed by a blank, then a dash, then another blank and finally the "description" of the number as in:

Robert - cell

If you use a colon you can save a character

Robert: cell

And if you delete the space after the colon you save two characters:

Robert:cell

Another alternative would be a blank to separate:

Robert cell

My preference would be for the last one as it would let me combine the two fields on my own terms. Ideally there'd be no spacing and a leading blank character allowed in the description but that would not give a good oobe.

I presume 15 characters come through for caller-id name as per the spec - not a whole lot of space available and every character that's available to me to use for the two pieces that I supply makes a difference.
