    Default PAP2T Configuration for BYOD

Many thanks to Voipo support for getting these screenshots together so we can see how things should be configured: http://support.voipo.com/screenshots/pap2t/

Not sure that some those pages should be fallowed.... Tim has said he does not want BYOD devices to be provisioned by Voipo's servers. If someone inputs what is shown on the provisioning page, they could be in for a surprise.

Besides the provisioning, there are a lot a differences between what is shown and how I have my PAP2 configured. It is easy to understand why VOIPo didn't want to support BYOD - a can of worms!

Enjoy life, it's not a dress rehearsal.

I only care about LINE 1 configurations and SIP. I wouldn't set (and hopefully nobody else would either) the provisioning stuff since that wouldn't work since they don't have my MAC on file. Of course it would probably fail silently.

KenH: What differences do you have?

Perhaps someone from Voipo would comment on the differences.

Ken's PAP2T matches mine very closely.

I have the PAP2T provisioned and there are a few differences.

They seem to be using their System IP for a Stun server. 74.52.58.50

DTMF TX mode is set to auto.

When did you provision yours last?

Just to clarify, this specific server is actually running a STUN service.
You are welcome to use the IP, "74.52.58.50" or "sip.voipwelcome.com".

I would think the name would be preferred since you can't guarantee you'll always have the same IP address; while you can pretty much guarantee that you'll keep the hostname. This will also allow Voipo to move the server around, load balance it, etc without us having to change anything. Name should be preferred.
