Default When on hold, music is playing..

Is there an option to turn off the music that plays (when the caller on hold due to flipping to a 2nd caller during call waiting)? It's awfully loud, and some people we've talked to complain about it.

Even better would be able to choose the music that's played.

That is a unsupported feature of the ATA per Tim. You could submit a ticket and see if they can turn it off but I doubt it.

I'll file a ticket. I have doubts about that statement. I had the same model router with Vonage, and they didn't have any music. And I doubt the RT31P2 has built-in music files that it streams out.

    Thanks,

As you can see the owner Tim says they do not support it.
