Default Problems with calls to northern VA

Sometimes no audio and when completed TERRIBLE echo. Sometimes the Voipo phone doesn't even do the "ring sound" yet it is ringing on the other end, they answer and we can't hear them. Been 2 days.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

Tracert is fine to sip-east01.voipwelcome.com [208.43.68.151] which is Washington DC which 10 miles from the person I am callings residence.

Is it all isolated to a specific area code/exchange?

I've had my calls go dead twice in the last 1/2 hour, and the incoming calls go to failover

By the way, it was calls into and out of the 973 area code, to and from 877 numbers. No Dial Tone.

Although my VPanel device screen shows that I am on Central, my PAP2 proxy is actually going to East.

Maybe that's why I haven't had any problems during this outage??

The vPanel "connected to" indicator just matches the hostname you're connected to up. If for some reason it does not match the east hostname, it will default to displaying Central.

Incoming and outgoing calls have been working fine for me (near Pentagon), though I haven't received incoming from outside local area that often.

After bad calls that don't go away with ATA reset, I'd open a ticket and give them the call reference id listed on the call log.

(unrelated but curiously, my RT31P2 has always been registered on Central 174.37.45.134 and not East 208.43.68.151)

Don't really know, I only call one number there which is 703-759-xxxx (my daughter).

I had the same problem 3-4 weeks ago. I left all the details in ticket number QRM-754256 yesterday (Thurs) around 6PM EST including a tracert right after it happened as requested by Brandon the last time it happened. That has been a problem number since day 1 with echos and no audio one or both ways.

Edit: Are you aware that entering a < or a > sign (as is always included in a TRACERT) into a ticket cuts the text off exactly at the point of that symbol and nothing past it gets saved? If you look at the ticket listed above make sure you read back 4 or 5 updates because it took that long to figure out why my tracert (and anything after it) never got saved.
