A Thought: Perhaps a progress note could show in the CP for LNP?
Something should also be accessible by the Reseller Pages.
Or the Reseller could get email updates?

How long does it normally take to port from:

    Magic Jack > VoIPo Reseller
    Bell South / AT&T > VoIPo Reseller

    Just curious.

All ports will vary, but usually anywhere from 7-45 days depending on how fast old provider responds. Landlines port the fastest....VoIP (especially MJ) take longer.

Alright Great! Once we port it it becomes a voipo number correct? Also how would we cancel there old number without disrupting service.

It would be ported into a VOIPo carrier partner (varies by area). VoIP providers don't port numbers directly.

You would need to wait until after the port is 100% done to cancel or the number would be lost. It's not possible to port canceled numbers.
