    Question Forwarding question

If you put your voipo phone on forward, to an entirely different area code in another state, would the incoming caller pay long distance charges once you picked up at the other (non-voipo) phone in the other state?

I do not believe so since the number they are calling is a local number.

True. It is the number called. Not where it finally rang.

Right, the forwarding would be irrelevant. The caller would only pay for the call to the VOIPo number.
