Default Porting an existing number out and replacing it with a new number

Can I port my existing ported in number away from VOIPO and replace that number with a new voipo provided number ? If so what is the process to do so?

Can I get a new number and assign that as my primary number and make my current number as secondary line and then port the number away to my cell phone provider. Will that work?

Any additional costs involved if I take this route?

Yeah, you could convert it to a virtual number and you'd just pay for the virtual number until the other one ported out (and you make it the only one).

If that's the goal, the cleanest way to go is to just do the port out first and then once it's done have us change the number (avoiding paying for a virtual number).

We don't automatically close account on port out or anything. Outgoing would still work, etc.
