We have had several customers reset their Linksys RT31P2 devices to factory defaults recently. Most of our devices are "locked" and prevent this, but some of the RT31P2 devices are not.

If you have a problem with your device, please reboot your device by unplugging the power cord for 10 seconds and the plugging it back in. If this does not resolve your issue, contact VOIPo at support@voipo.com or 877-99-VOIPO and we will be glad to help.

This is a reminder that you should NOT press the reset button on the back your device or it will be 100% non-functional.

Effective immediately, VOIPo will charge a $25 reprogramming fee to reconfigure a device which has been hard reset using the hard reset button.

Since the device is a generic Linksys device and was not made for VOIPo or any particular service provider, this clears out all VOIPo settings and renders the device 100% unusable until it is reprogrammed by VOIPo.

If you do this "hard reset", your VOIPo service will be down and the device unusable. You will need to ship it to VOIPo at your cost and pay a $25 reprogramming fee for reprogramming. Your service will be down during that time and we will not issue service credits since this is a preventable error and will only occur if you press the hard reset button on the device.

Please remember that the VOIPo Terms of Servive prohibits tampering with the device or loading other firmware versions onto it since it remains the property of VOIPo and must be returned upon cancellation.

We are here to help you if you ever have issues or have any questions about this. All you need to do is contact us at support@voipo.com or at 877-99-VOIPO and we'll be glad to assist you.
