Slow response on voicemail system

Up until a couple of weeks ago, performance of the voicemail system has always been very quick. Lately, I've noticed that it can take upwards of 10 seconds before I get into voicemail (after dialing 1-2-3).

Is this just the system getting slammed? I haven't been tracking the time of day, but just noticed it again now (4:13 pm MDT).

Try pressing # after the 123. It has to wait to see if you might be dialing a longer number.

Never had to do that before...

Response has been better lately; I get the VM prompt immediately after dialing 1-2-3.
