Weird happening ....

Unless it starts happening again it's no big deal but around 4:35PM (Eastern) both lines went down for about 2 seconds then when they came up both lines had message waiting tones (with no messages).

Anyone else notice it?

I see I had a Stutter/VMWI on my phone.
No message, and cleared just by hanging up. (PAP2T)

I didn't see it go down. But I noticed my phone had the voice mail indicator on about 15 minutes back. I called 123 and found there were no messages, and the indicator went off.

I just noticed that the Elapsed time was 33 minutes. Not sure if the ATA rebooted due to provisioning changes.

Just happened to me a 2nd time. EXACTLY 2hrs to the minute after the first time. I have 2 separate lines, both went down and both have the VM tone with no message.

Please power-cycle, allow five minutes to elapse, and advise if you are still receiving this phantom message waiting tone. Thanks!

I never power cycled, and have not had a repeat.

After the 2 repeats it hasn't happened again. Weird though.

My phone is a 2-Line Dect with large very bright blue off-hook lights so when the ATA goes down it looks like a Xmas tree. Handset and cradle light up so it's easy to notice when something happens.

Was only the one time for me. My Uniden is a 2-line 5.8Ghz that lights the base, and blinks a light on the phone when a message is left. One of those will catch my attention.
