Fast Number Porting

Well, that was fast...maybe a little too fast. My landline number ported in 24 hours and my ATA hasn't even shipped yet! No incoming calls now. I suppose that I will just have to enjoy the silence for a while and hope that the President doesn't try to call me. Thanks...I think.

Heh, heh, I had the same thing happen last week (2 days to port - it gets worse; dialtone died the next day even though I hadn't canceled my old service - no more outgoing either). I set up Failover in the VOIPo VPanel Basic Features to forward the # to my cell (or Google Voice) temporarily, if that is an option for you.

Thanks rChaz....yes that's what I did, too. So far the President hasn't called asking for advice.
