IP Address of GrandSteam

I signed up to use Dyndns service and it shows the IP address of my Grandsteam and not the Cable modem. Is this why I can not access a server harddrive connected to my home network? If so any suggestions to setup this serverice are suggested.

Run the DynDns updater client on your PC, or let your router update DynDns if it has that feature, though it may try reporting the LAN address if it is behind the Grandstream.

I assume you have the Grandstream between the cable modem and your router. You may also want to use port forwarding for your server.
