Default The phone adapter doesn't work after replacing my router

    Hi People,

My old router D-Link DIR-655 was bricked yesterday. I replaced it with a new router ASUS RT-N66R. But the VOIPo phone adapter doesn't work anymore. Only 2 lights are on; the power and the internet. The 2 phone lights are off.

    What should I do?

    Thank you.

There are 2 things you could try. The simplest would be put the adapter between the internet gateway and your router.

Next thing, is go into the setup portion of the router and make sure the port forwarding is set up correctly. After it's set up, reset the adapter and all the lights should come up as normal.

Turn off firewall and SIP ALG (if available on the router) and see if it works. If it doesn't work, you can try the port forwarding option. If nothing works, contact support.
