Anyone ported from Qwest?

Wondering if anyone has any experience porting a number away from Qwest. Just a bit curious how long it takes and if Qwest causes any problems with the port.

We did at the office 5 years ago to Vonage...

I cant tell you exactly how long it took but no issues and seems like it was inside a week...

Ports from the majors ILECs (Verizon, AT&T, Qwest) will be quick and easy as long as all the information submitted matches the account there.

OK, good to know! I need to beat on my voipo service a bit more to make sure I'm happy with the call quality (so far on the handful of short calls I've made it's been excellent) and then I'll submit the LNP request.

I ported from Qwest...only took a few days, as I recall.

I've had a few calls with horrible audio quality, so I'm holding off for a few more days to request a port to see if it was an isolated incident. I'm also using my own ATA and that may have been part of the problem. Need to make some calls using the ATA that Voipo sent me.

Not going so quickly for me. It's been over a week already, and the estimated completion date I was given is Feb 1

I ported from Qwest about a year ago and it went fine. I think it was finished about the time the box arrived. The only problems were due to the grandstream hardware VOIPo was using at the time but that is in the past now.
