I have my system setup to dial 1-800-free411 when I dial "411" and it seems to work fine. I also have it dialing our "Road and Travel" conditions when i dial "511". I've never had any problems call routing it to anyplace. mike....

P.S. FWIW I just programmed my vpanel with "666" to dial the goog411 8004664411 and it works fine. The GOOG411 said they were SWAMPED and to please call back, but it did get through OK. It seems like the goog411 is getting routed via a "Neutral" line and therefor the goog411 may not be seeing a "CallerID". As such, it may be re-routing the INCOMING call to one of their other lines. Reason being; these lines make their money off of advertising. If it doesn't see your caller ID, it might assume that it's a Telemarketer or some other call that isn't going to make them money. I assume, they have to account for EVERY call that comes in; with a telephone number. So, it's possible that the routing being done when dialing the 3 digit is on a neutral outbound trunk from VoipO instead of your line with the caller ID like when you call directly. Obviously, if that's the case and VoipO can't really fix it; you can either make a speed dial on your phone, or use another free 411 service that is the same as your goog411. I personally use 1-800-free411 It's the same advertiser base information system, and it works fine.

Ok I just tried it again and got the same result. I programmed 444 to forwad to goog411 and got the "we are busy" message.

Dialed it directly and it went through.

Someone needs to look at my call logs (212 372-XXXX) to analyze the differences in the call routing on those 2 calls. Interestingly, the one that went to the busy recording does NOT show the time duration for the call but the one where I dialed it directly does show up with a timer/duration entry.
    Perhaps that will help.
